Ministry Dream Training

My name is Jacob Tarver and I am receiving ministry dream training at CLI. I live in the state of Georgia in the United States. In my life, I have felt the calling of Christ to be an evangelist. I feel drawn to perform musically and to speak the gospel of Jesus Christ to individuals, small groups, large groups and even massive stadiums. My calling has led me into a realm of study and discovery of where God has fit me into his divine plan. What I have discovered in God’s calling for me is that I will start a “move church” of people who go out and preach in new locations once a month and spend the other three Sundays in-house. I want to make every “remote” service a full-fledged service. The entire congregation who would normally attend would use their spiritual gifts to disciple to the public. The people who normally wouldn’t come to church will see God’s hand at work in the streets in a full-service makeup. The reason I feel that God is calling me this way is that I have always been blessed with the ability to speak well, learn information well, evangelize and captivate people with the word of God and the Gospel spoken in a way that they will understand.

As a child, my parents recognized God’s call in my life before I even knew Christ personally. At the age of eleven, I surrendered myself to the Lord and was saved. I can’t say that I have always been in the will of God since we all stray, but until I was 25, I didn’t know what God’s call in my life truly was. I am 30 now and I have once again surrendered to the Lord and believe now what I stated earlier. These classes at Christian Leaders Institute will equip me for this calling on my life.
