FREE PHILOSOPHY COURSE

Are you interested in studying philosophy but do not have the time because of other priorities? Do you want to have a “working” knowledge of philosophy?

Having a working knowledge of philosophy is becoming increasingly important for an active Christian or someone called into ministry. After taking this Philosophy mini-course, you will see how everyone and every media source promotes a philosophy or worldview.

Who should take this free philosophy course anyway?

  • Active Christians trying to discern the spirit of the age
  • Posters on social media
  • Blog writers
  • Volunteer, part-time, or career ministers
  • Parents

This free Philosophy course features videos from Dr. Roy Clouser. CLI president Henry Reyenga interviewed Dr. Clouser for a summary of the essence of Philosophy. Dr. Clouser was selected as a Templeton Award winner. If you wondered if you will ever take a Christian Philosophy course, this course might be a great fit for you. If you really connect to the mini-course materials, these lectures are posted again in the Introduction to Philosophy Course here at CLI’s Leadership Excellence School and Christian Leaders Institute. Who knows? Maybe you will pursue many courses in Philosophy.

What is Philosophy?

Lehigh University Philosophy Department says that “Philosophy is an activity people undertake when they seek to understand themselves, the world they live in, and their relations to the world and each other.  Those who study philosophy are engaged in asking, answering, evaluating, and reasoning about some of life’s most basic, meaningful, and difficult questions.”

This Free Philosophy Course is a mini-course that can be done in under 3 hours of effort but features insights that introduce you to Philosophy Proficiency. You may find that you want to study philosophy further!
