Free Bible School
My name is Rita Nagarasan and I am receiving free Bible School training I’m 37 years of age. I was born and raised in California, U.S.A. and I have one older sibling, Jennifer Loya. I am so thankful and blessed to have my three beautiful and amazing nieces and hope to someday have a family of my own. In 2003, I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Public Relations. I currently am independently contracted with Door Dash (food delivery service), which is helping me practice to have faith in the Lord. It is also allowing me the appropriate time to further my education in ministry and build that rock-solid foundation in him for guidance towards where he would best use my gifts.
My parents brought me to Sunday school on occasion and in junior high more regularly to church. In junior high, I was baptized and fell in love with Jesus Christ. Through my high school years, I started to attend church on my own and be more involved with it. I helped with children’s ministry and attended youth camps. Once I graduated from high school and started college, Satan slowly lured me away, as I couldn’t find the time to attend church regularly or even be involved in any way.
After graduating from college, when I gained more time, my focus became more on the things of the world. Over the next several years, I tried to do things on my own wondering why everything felt so hard and why they didn’t seem to be working out for me. The year 2017 led me running back to my Father’s arms, but not before reaching a low point in darkness.
Looking back, I can now say I am grateful for that darkness because, without it, I wouldn’t have experienced a grace like I had in December 2017 and now continue to experience daily. The Lord showed me just how powerful he was in my weakness. I used to think that God was someone that is just out there, but now I know he’s right here with me. I long to build that intimate relationship with him and use my gifts for his glory. I’m truly grateful and feel like I owe him my life.
After experiencing the grace of God in the way I have, I’ve definitely felt a greater calling for my life. I’m not sure at the present time what exactly that may be, but I’m doing everything I can to build a strong foundation in God. Then, wherever and whenever he wants to use me I will be prepared. I currently attend Sandals Church-Hunter Park Campus in Riverside, California, and serve on the welcome team as a greeter. I am grateful for Sandals Church and always feel connected even with how large the church is. Their motto is “Real With God, Real With Self, Real With Others” which has made it such an awesome church. I just completed the “Real” workshops and am involved in an 8-week path group study which meets every Sunday. I also just joined a women’s Bible study at Calvary Church which meets Mondays in Santa Ana and is led by Bible Study Fellowship International. We are currently studying the book of Romans.
The Lord has been faithful to provide just enough. So when I found Christian Leaders Institute, I felt grateful and blessed to have this opportunity for free Bible school training. I researched many colleges to possibly go for my master’s degree. But right now, I don’t think it would be the right thing to do financially. Although I’m currently unsure of where the Lord will use me, I know I need to be using my leadership skills for his glory. Possible ideas for my future include mission work, youth ministry, or children’s ministry. However, I feel the Lord may have bigger plans than anything I could even imagine.
A free Bible school scholarship would be amazing in helping me because of my current financial situation. In the future, as I’m sure the Lord will bless, I will definitely pay it forward. I appreciate being given this opportunity to grow my knowledge and build a more stable foundation and intimate relationship in my walk with the Lord. Thank you to all who are involved in any way to keep this amazing program going!
