“I grew up in a church – Members In Christ Church where my father was and is still Pastoring there. I began to know more about christ as I was growing up as our father engage us in different christian activities. This included sunday school teaching and training of Sunday school teacher.”
A dream for the United Assemblies Church.
“My ministry’s dream is to bring more souls to christ and by doing this you will need to be well equiped. I currently have a membership of more than 100 followers and we have not yet aquired a building as most of the income we get is being overshadowed by expenses. We are doing church plants, all over the Province of KwaZulu Natal where I am currently residing.”
Proper training is needed for the United Assemblies Church to succeed.

Church Planter: Christopher Karper is a Church Planter. He is part of the wave of urban missionaries who have decided to become a Church Planter. He begins by sharing about his walk and life.
“My name is Pastor Christopher Karper, and I live in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania in the United States Of America. I came to know the Lord when I enlisted into the United States Army in February of 2006. I wanted to become a christian before I was shipped over seas or to boot camp.”
With few resources, Church Planter Christopher will need the support of Christian Leaders Institute to go forward as an urban missionary.
“Then in April,2010 I took tons of bible study courses and some from American Bible Academy. I contacted the Universal Life Church about ordaination, and on April, 2010 I was oradained a Pastor. I’m looking forward to buying a church but don’t have the money or the donations to make it happen. So my scholarship is very important, so i can use that to show people that God works in ways people don’t know. And he can help anybody to achevie their goals and dreams.”
Tremendous monetary obstacles stand between Christopher becoming a Church Planter.
“To pay for my ministry? Well, that’s going to be to much because the church is for sale at $169,900.00. But its going to need a lot of work because there was a fire downstairs in it. and I really don’t want to see this church go unused for another 6 years. I want to try and fix it up.”

Mission Latin America: Willahar has a plan for Mission Latin America. He starts by talking about Mission Latin America.
“Brothers and Sisters in Christ: May God bless all of you now and forever. My name is Willahar, I am living in Bogota Colombia. This is our capital city with around ten million people. I am a member of the first Presbyterian church. I am leading the music ministry with a choir of about 25 people. We are doing evangelism and social service. Our top goal is to get the message of Jesus Everywhere.”
There are distractions in Mission Latin America.
“Doing ministry in this city is quite hard. There are many people wanting to hear about God. People get confused because the different messages. Everybody knows the situation around the world with false masters and prophets preaching everywhere. We the evangelical main stream are doing the work for the glory of God.”
Willahar converted at a young age to pursue Mission Latin America.
“I was born in a Christian protestant family. I met Jesus At the very young age. Despite that I was walking away from God. He in his mercy and love called me back again. Seven years ago, I renewed my faith. I take my faith seriously and since then I have been walking with Jesus as my Lord.”
He wants to have a church for Mission Latin America.
“My ministry dream is to serve my community church teaching to walk with Jesus. Also doing an important ministry and in that way help for a authentic biblical revival. Getting a scholarship from CLI will be the best answer from God to help my ministry. This will give me the right tools to fulfill the commandement from Jesus to preach the gospel.”
Prayer is needed for his success with Mission Latin America.
“Please pray for my to get the best from CLI and for spiritual strengthen and for the people under my charge. I hope to have done my best with my English. My first language is Spanish.
