Mission Zimbabwe: The African continent is an area of great need for the gospel in the world. Mission Zimbabwe has a speficic challenge that is unique in the ministry world. The people of Zimbabwe are very literate which requires a high level of biblical understanding to effectively share his word. Peter Nyakudya starts his story by sharing about his life with Mission Zimbabwe.
“Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I live in Zimbabwe, in Southern Africa. I am a church Leader in my church. Zimbabwe has the highest literate rate in Africa at the moment. Preaching to the unsaved people require someone with knowledge of the Word of God. I am enjoying sharing the Word of God for mission Zimbabwe.”
Peter saw a need to understand the word of God for Mission Zimbabwe at a young age.
“I was saved when I was 16years old. I was born in a Christian family. When I was 16, I dedicated my life to the Lord has I started to understand the Word of God.”
His dream is to fearlessly preach the gospel for Mission Zimbabwe.
“My dream ministry is Teaching Ministry to further Mission Zimbabwe Hosea 4 vs 6 says, My people are perishing because of lack of knowledge. Has man and women of God seek knowledge today, we are hindered by the economic hardships of today. We have man and women of God today who seek to get that knowledge but were hindered by lack of funds to pay at various Bible colleges.”
Mission Zimbabwe is not possible without the right training.
“This scholarship will enable me to continue mission Zimbabwe and fulfill Jeremiah 1 vs 8 and 1Timothy 4 vs 13. That will make sure that I go into the world well equipped to tackle any questions regarding the Word of God as I enjoy Teaching ministry.”
Christian Leaders Institue is instrumental in the success of Mission Zimbabwe.
“Thanks to Christian Leaders Institute organization, who are offering the training of Leaders for free on-line. For the organization to continue operating, they need funding in form of donations. I am humbly asking your organization to donate towards this noble cause. Always remember Hebrews 6 vs 10 which says, God will repay for every good work you have done towards His work.”
Peter ends by asking for your prayers for him and Mission Zimbabwe.
“I would request a prayer that I will be strong and increase in wisdom, understanding and explaining the Word of God that many will know and be strong in the Lord through my ministry. Yours Faithfully – Peter Nyakudya”

Youth Ministry: Beth Clavette has a goal of being part of a youth ministry. She shares her journey and challenges she faces in becoming part of a youth ministry.
“Grace from the Father and may He bless CLI! My name is Beth Clavette and I was born at Camp Le Jeaune, North Carolina. My biological father was in the Marines, my mother was in the Navy. I was born on April 26, 1977 in a military hospital. We resided in North Carolina for a few years before my parents were sadly divorced. My father had an affair, and on the same day of the divorce he remarried. My mother remarried a few years later to my step father, who was serving in the Army at the time.
Beth was part of a military family, this influenced her path to a youth ministry.
“We left the Unites States for two years while my father was in the service to the United Kingdom. When we returned to the United States, we resided in Maine and remained there while I grew up. I count it a joy and blessing that here in the United States, serving and ministring is more open than many other nations of the world. Unfortunately, there is still persecution but not nearly as bad as it could be.”
She was targeted by a youth ministry when she was young.
“When I resided in Maine with my family, my parents were witnessed to quite often and finally came to the Lord. We began going to a small but wonderful church. Each summer, the church would participate in a youth ministry program designed to witness to children, while giving oportunities for learning different crafts such as, fishing, canoing, and other fun and enjoyable activities. When I was nine, my mother and I stayed in the same cabin together as she was the Senior counselor for my age group. Another girl in my cabin caught the heart of my mother due to this girl’s bad situation.”
Beth envied another girl in her youth ministry.
“I became jealous, and angry that my mother began treating me harshly while this other girl was being treated more gently. It got to the point where my mother told me she wanted to adopt this girl, bring her home and that I would not only have to accept this but also make peace with this girl. I left chapel that night in tears, angry and frustrated. A different camp counselor came out to see if I was alright. After being ministered by this woman, I came to know the Lord and knew that God would be with me no matter what happened.”
He empathy for other children pushed her into youth ministry.
“My ministry dream is to be a part of a youth ministry since I have always had a strong love for them. Seeing young children come to know the Lord is such a joy and blessing! Right now, however the church that I am currently am attending needs much help. So, while I am not able to have that youth ministry right now, the Lord has shown me that this church deeply needs to be uplifted, and encouraged. So, my ministry has begun to help reestablish this church for His glory.”
Free tuition is the only way Beth can be properly equipped for her youth ministry.
“A scholarship would grately benifit me while I am in ministry because of the financial burdens of not only the church but in my own life. I have a young child and we are both disabled. My son is Autistic while I have learning disabilities and other disabilities which have kept me from working a secular job. I have had a few jobs before but for one reason or another, was not able to continue. Having the scholarship would provide me the training, and the encouragement that I need and will be able to share this blessing with the church.”
Her youth ministry dream can finally be realized thanks to Christian Leaders Institues Scholarships.
“Please, pray for the pastor and the members of the South Riverside Baptist Church. Pastor Hart is about to retire, and a different person is taking over. During his ministry, Pastor Hart lost many of his members due to being taken by the Lord to go home. Many of the members have become discouraged as they no longer have the numbers or the family size that they used to. During the economic crisis, many of their programs they had in place have had to be removed. Pray that there is a revival of renewed spirits and hearts, that more people would come in to worship God. Also, I am asking for wisdom to be able to witness, invite and minister to all that the Lord allows me. I thank God for this school, and thank CLI for helping make my youth ministry dreams come true.”
Beth has completed the Christian Basics Certificate. She continues to expand her education for youth ministry thanks to generous donors of Christian Leaders Institute.

Ministry Calling: Denise has a Ministry Calling . Denise starts by sharing why she has Ministry Calling.
“My name is Denise Anderson and I am actively taking courses with “The Christian Leaders Institute” and I am thankful to have this great opportunity here in the United States. In the country in which I am living I see from my own experiences with visiting many different churches and denominations that the ministers or pastors are treated in relatively the same fashion. They are treated as holy, good and pure servants of knowledge about God and his many wonders. They are treated with respect and high esteem but we are not fearful of them because they are always so kind and caring. I myself am not even close to being able to perform as a minister because I am just getting started but I hope to carry out my duties as like I had described of the ones I have encountered. In order to get the knowledge though I have to learn and learn as much as I can like a teacher who needs the knowledge to teach.”
Denise had a Ministry Calling at a young age.
“I came to know the Lord as a child my grandmother raised me as a devout Catholic and raised me very strictly with the fear of God. I went to Catholic Middle and Catholic High School and had some studies there mixed with prayer in our school. I believe the Lord has always been in my life but I got my first calling about 10 years ago in a dream. I remember the dream specifically was a message to become a Missionary. When I woke up I felt that I was supposed to do it but didn’t know how to go about it. So I continued on with my life. Just recently I recieved my message in meditating and it was that I should become a minister. I did some research right after and I did not question at all what I should do. I am actually excited about taking on this new journey.”
While Denise does not know her exact path, she knows she has a Ministry Calling her.
“My dream in ministry mostly revolves around helping others and spreading God’s Word. I do not quite know what God’s exact plan is for me as of yet and I am taking each step as it is given to me. As I am searching I am finding more and more that my life has lead up to this important calling. I believe that taking the courses at CLI is vital to getting the knowledge and training I need as I cannot afford to go to college or even have the time and patience for many years of college training.”
Denise does not want to waste any time in pursuing her Ministry Calling.
“So to answer that question of why a scholarship is so important to fufill my calling into ministry, I believe God wants me to get right into it and start right away. I don’t want to waste any more precious time that I could be out there helping those in need. I want to do my very best in succeeding in my studies and my work get the very best grades and get out there and do God’s good work. I think CLI can definitely help me to get out there with confidence and trust. The program so far has been a very well organized and easy one to understand and learn. Please pray that I get the top grades that I can get. That I understand everything I need to to get started in the ministry. That I am fulfilled in my work helping others. I want to be very successful in doing God’s plan for me that he will be pleased.
God Bless,
Denise Anderson”
