“Hello, my name is Nathaniel Quartey and I’m from Accra, Ghana. It’s really exciting for me to join this wonderful Online Bible College Christian leaders Institue. I committed myself to a relation with God through Jesus Christ at the age of twelve. One thing that characterized my life in my earlier walk with God was a deep thirst for the knowledge of God. This thirst became even stronger when I started to share my faith with my family and friends.
Over the past twelve years, I have taken advantage of several opportunities to study to show myself approved onto God and also to be an effective workman (leader). I look forward to gaining relevant ministerial training through my participation in this Online Bible College CLI. My country Ghana is predominantly Christian, with over 50% of the population professing Christianity. Islam dominates in the northern part of the country and there are other smaller religious groups. Not less than 95% of the population is religious.”

All of these make missionary work and my study with an Online Bible College easy in Ghana.”
Nathaniel can use his training from this Online Bible College to reach the Ghanese people.
“I am very excited about the bi-vocational approach this Online Bible College has adopted which will enable me pursue ministerial training alongside my studies in engineering. I believe that every Christian is called to ministry and should train through an Online Bible College. It is possible to combine a professional life with the work of the ministry. I would be grateful to receive a scholarship for my studies with this Online Bible College. My financial constrains at the moment would not make it possible for me to afford the tuition. Church Planting – Isaac Tetteh Juddah of Ghana has been called by God to participate in Church Planting. His testimony tells of his journey and challenges he faces on the road of Church Planting.
“I first pursued a certificate in Pastoral Ministry in Sept., 2001. I just completed B.A (Psychology) at University Of Ghana. I have been in ministry for the past eleven years. I have been involved with Church Planting three times through transfers by my church. I have been transferred to Zimbabwe for Church Planting by my church. I have been in Zimbabwe for barely a month now with my wife.”
“I am husband of one wife with four children, three boys and a girl. I accepted Christ as Lord and personal savior by the help of my Sunday School teacher at age ten. I then joined the adult service at age seventeen and has kept my faith in Christ till date, I felt the call of God upon my life in my teenage years but I waited for confirmation when I was called into ministry.”
Isaac does Church Planting in Zimbabwe.
“I am now living in Zimbabwe as a missionary of the Church of Pentecost, however, I am awaiting my temporary employment permit yet to be approved. The harvest in Zimbabwe is ripe for Church Planting but the laborers are few. There are more christians in this country but the level of commitment, dedication and maturity is very low.”
“Most of the Church Planting happens in Harare, the capital city. More Church Planting is needed in the other provinces. Another challenging factor is the issue of quality leaders to be responsible to the local Church Planting efforts. This calls for systematic training but financial support is lacking because of the prevailing economic challenges in Zimbabwe.”
“I was introduced to Christ by my Sunday school teacher at age 8 and at age 15 I joined the adult service where I accepted Christ as Lord and personal Savior, I continued in fellowship with the saints in all zealousness and was called into full-time ministry in the year 2000.”
“My heart desire is to serve the Lord my God with all my heart, strength and soul. My dream is to be more involved with Church Planting and train leaders to shepherd these churches to be transformed to the image of Christ.”
“I cannot give what I do not have. If I am aiming at quality leadership through Church Planting, it implies that I must have that kind of leadership. After going through the Getting Started Course, My heart is at peace that I have found what I was searching for years.”
“The scholarship is great importance to me because this will make my Church Planting dreams come true. It will remove the financial constrains in realizing my dream and also I will not be confined to classroom as is the case in other theological institutions.
“I would be very grateful if could be supported with my Church Planting through prayer in the following areas: Get my Temporary Employment Permit in Zimbabwe. More Church Planting. Train more committed and mature leader. Be a leader by example. Have a closer personal walk with Jesus Christ.”

Campus Crusade for Christ – Maurice Agunda of Kenya came to know the Lord through Campus Crusade for Christ. As a young orphan, Maurice needed a Savior. Campus Crusade for Christ reached Maurice. He shares his story and family struggle below.
“I am the third born in a family of four. I lost my parents when I was very young. I also lost my younger brother in 2005. My elder brother and sister have accepted Christ in their lives. My sister is married. My concern is about my sister’s family who has been going through some tough financial times. Please pray for them!”
Maurice never thought he would become Christian through Campus Crusade for Christ.
“My coming into Christ is a fairytale since I did not plan for it neither did I envision it. After graduating from high school in 2003, my elder brother introduced me to Campus Crusade for Christ International that was offering an intensive 6-months ex-candidates program. He informed me that the training was on guidance and counseling. However, when I joined the program, all the lessons focused on teaching about God, who a Christian is, and how to become a Christian.”
Campus Crusade for Christ taught Maurice about God and he decided to follow the Lord.
“In one of the sessions with Campus Crusade for Christ on how to share your faith, we had a guest teacher who sought to find out when each of the students had accepted Christ in their lives. The whole group had received Christ before except me. I was then used as an example to the class on how to share your faith through a small booklet known as “Have you heard of the Four Spiritual Laws.” I eventually accepted Christ in my life and Campus Crusade for Christ helped me to grow in Christianity.”
Campus Crusade for Christ planted the seeds for Maurice to start a ministry for youth.
“I am the founder and president of DICE Ministry Kenya, a faith based organization that was founded about two years ago with a vision of developing a generation that knows God, is empowered, and is skillful. The organization basically focuses on reaching out to young people in high-schools and ex-candidates in order to prepare them for life in campus, in the community, or in the marketplace. It is similar to Campus Crusade for Christ with a focus on younger people”
Maurice did some things different then Campus Crusade for Christ with his ministry.
“As part of realizing our vision, DICE Ministry Kenya offers an eight-month empowerment program to ex-candidates from various high schools, especially those from very humble backgrounds. This program provides various courses such as Discipleship and Evangelism, Life skills training, basic computer packages, basic music skills, graphic design, and video editing & shooting.”
Getting reached through Campus Crusade for Christ was not enough. He needed advanced ministry training to be a Christian Leader.
“I have always desired to attend an institution that will provide me with relevant ministry training that will help me to become effective in my service to God. I believe that CLI is the place for me to receive that kind of training. The training received from this institution will be beneficial in reaching out and preparing young people in my community.”
Christian Leaders Institute will take him beyond Campus Crusade for Christ.
