Adesina Akanni –
“I came to know the Lord as my saviour in November 1997 in my final year at the then Ondo state university, now Ekiti State University. Since then I have grown in grace by the help of the one who saved my soul from the wrath of hell and reconciled me back to Himself.
“In the UK, there are different walls or partitions built by the Government legislation to reaching the lost for Christ. One of these is the notorious law that bars you as an employee from sharing your faith with a colleague at work place. These various legislation are further compounded by the British apathy to Christ and what He could offer. Indeed, Britain, where I sojourn, is filled with all kinds and manners of challenges built by the enemy to reaching people for Christ.
“Our desire in ministry is to positively transform every community and every life that would have contact with the power in the word of God.
“Therefore, we have adopted what we called the outreach, impacting, and releasing strategy to achieving our ministry objective.
“The outreach is to recruit potential soldiers of the cross, training them to be ministers of the cross and releasing them to plant more churches.”
Adesina Akanni Receives a Scholarship
“The scholarship from the Christian Leadership Institute would facilitate the knowledge required to fulfilling these goals in ministry.
“We need the prayer of the saints to be strong to fulfill this ministry that God has committed into our hands.
“We appreciate the grace of God bestow on you to accomplishing this task of impacting the saints through education. We pray that God who has begun this will empower you to the end in Jesus name.”
Adesina Akanni has a vision. Today, Britain is a country filled with apathy toward Christ and barriers to preaching to the lost, but Adesina Akanni envisions an army of soldiers of the cross breaking down those barriers. Adesina Akanni has a means to fulfill his goal, but he lacks the training, knowledge, and experience. A scholarship to CLI will provide Adesina Akanni with all of these so that he can further pursues his ministry calling.

Andy Miller –
“Hi, I’m Andy Miller. My family and I are currently serving as missionaries to Kenya, Africa. Our time here in Kenya has been a wonderful and growing experience. We have seen the hand of the Lord in many areas and seen His faithfulness in our own lives as well.
“I grew up going to church out of ‘duty’, but didn’t have a true relationship with Jesus until my senior year of high school when the Lord called me out of darkness and into His marvelous light. I love Jesus, and count it a joy to serve Him.
“My heart in ministry is in evangelism. My ‘dream’ would be to be a self-supported evangelist to my community and the surrounding areas.”
Andy Miller Receives a Scholarship
“I appreciate CLI giving the opportunity to receive training at no cost. With not receiving an income as missionaries, we keep a tight budget that would not allow me to receive any formal education if it were not for the supporters that make CLI scholarships possible.
“Pray for us in our ministry here in Kenya that we would continue to be faithful to the calling on our lives and see fruit from our ministry as we spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
Andy Miller has left the comfort of his home country to become a missionary in Kenya. There are few people who have the courage to go even this far, but Andy Miller wants to go further. He wants to improve in the areas where he is lacking. Andy Miller desires more than anything to serve God to the fullest extent possible. He dreams of becoming a self-sufficient missionary in the community he is already serving. Gabriel Solomon Mudiaga –
“My name is Solomon. I’m 26 years old, and my present city is called Bologna in Italy. I was brought up in a Christian family, but when I got admitted into College, my life style changed because of the friends I made there. I started chasing after girls, failing exams, and doing other bad things, so my parents decided to enroll me into another college. They were praying for me, because they knew I had a calling from God and the devil was trying to destroy it.
“At my new school, I met a Christian sister who later became my best friend. She was in the College Christian fellowship. She shared the word of the Bible with me, and I was not able to resist. I accepted Christ into my life, and a few months later I was Baptized. Two years later I became the President of the college Christian fellowship.
“My entire family later relocated to Italy where we are presently. We found a Christ believing church as we were praying, and I later became again the Church youth fellowship president. To cut the story short, I am currently one of the Deacons in our Church.”
Gabriel Solomon Mudiaga Receives a Scholarship
“I have seen the road I navigated through and how the grace of God was able to save me from eternal destruction through a sister. I can’t sit back and watch millions of souls perish in Bologna city and all over the land of Italy. I have been praying to God to provide me adequate training. Then I came across the site (CLI). I am fully convinced in my spirit that with a Scholarship to CLI, I will go through training that will prepare me to win many souls in Bologna and Italy for the kingdom of Lord Jesus. Amen.”
Gabriel Solomon Mudiaga knows what it is to be a son who has lost the way. He knows that without God, he never would have found his way back.
