Isaac Lamptey –
“My name is Pastor Isaac Lamptey, and I live in Ghana. In Ghana it is a very great task to do ministry, but God is working out in his own way.
“While I was working as a busy businessman, I thought I had no use for the things of God. I believed that church is for the poor people who want God to prosper them. But one day while I was relaxing at work, the Lord called me to leave my job and go and do his work. At that time a lot of pastors told me that I will be a pastor, but I believed that they wanted my money. After the visitation of the Lord I really accepted Christ as my Lord and personal Savior.
“I have a dream to preach to all those who thought Christianity is only for the poor and that they can do it without Christ. I want them to change and trust and be faithful to Christ Jesus.”
Isaac Lamptey Receives a Scholarship
“I know that I need good teaching to be able to teach others, and I want CLI to help me to help others in life.
“I also want CLI to help me in prayers to be able to fulfill the mission given to me by Christ Jesus.”
Isaac Lamptey thought he knew everything he needed to about God, but God had other plans for him. God called Isaac Lamptey, who left a successful business position to follow God’s calling into the ministry. Now Isaac Lamptey wants to preach the word to others who believe that God is only for the people who can’t make it on their own, as he once did. Isaac Lamptey has a deep desire to serve others and help them to grow in Christ. Isaac Lamptey sums up his passion when he asks that Christian Leaders Institute “help me to help others…”

Dina Newman –
“My name is Dina Newman and I live in Toronto, Canada.
“In Toronto, and especially in the area I live and go to church, there aren’t many churches that share the Gospel message, or are enabling spiritual growth. Sharing the Gospel in Toronto is challenging, especially where I live, as many don’t feel they need or want a relationship with Jesus Christ.
“I came to know Jesus while in Jamaica studying with Jehovah’s Witnesses. I prayed and asked God if their teachings weren’t the Truth, He would reveal Himself to me. A few days later I met a Christian missionary couple who took me to a home bible study for a couple of months. There I learned God’s Word, and asked Jesus to be my Savior.
“I started this course to gain more knowledge of God and the bible while waiting on the Lord to show me His plan for me. I have a strong desire to help teenagers and point them to Jesus. I would like to study Christian counseling.”
Dina Newman Receives a Scholarship
“A scholarship with CLI would enable me to study counseling, as I don’t have the funds or time to go to seminary school, since I have to work full-time.
“Please pray that the Lord will guide me as I step out in faith to fulfill the destiny He has for me.

Dina Newman once belonged to the cult of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, but she knew that their teachings were not true. After meeting a Christian missionary couple, Dina Newman received the true word of the gospel and joined the fellowship of the body of Christ. Now Dina Newman desires to counsel others with wise, biblical counsel, but she can’t afford to go to a seminary. This is why Dina Newman has come to Christian Leaders Institute, where a scholarship can help her realize her vision of counseling teens and leading them to Christ.

Jeffrey Davidson –
“Can the Lord use more old men in America? I came to know a little about the Lord as a child from my grandparents who were catholic. They occasionally took me to church with them and I got a sense that there was more to this life than what I then realized.
“I didn’t really come to know the Lord until I was in my mid twenty’s, looking back I know that He knew me and that His hand was on my life. I have wanted to be a pastor or a theologian since that time. It never seemed possible to go to seminary, so I studied myself and got involved in as many ministries as I could handle.”
Jeffrey Davidson Receives a Scholarship
“Today, I’m an older man, who still can’t seem to afford to go to seminary, but my dream has never dimmed. I still desire to learn more about our God and I still desire to serve Him in whatever roles He sovereignly determines for me. I must work long hours to support my wife and me, but with my extra time I still desire to study. I think a scholarship will help add some tools and perspective to my study. It may open other doors in ministry for me.
“I would have people pray that I remain determined to serve the Lord despite all the seemingly impassible obstacles that life throws at me. I would desire that people pray that I come to know the Lord in a deeper, richer way and that He enables me to pass that knowledge and experience on to others in His service.”
Jeffrey Davidson felt God calling him to the ministry early in life, but was never able to afford the seminary education required. Through the years, Jeffrey Davidson never lost his passion for Christ, and finally an opportunity has come to pursue his calling. Jeffrey Davidson has found Christian Leaders Institute, where he can obtain the same quality education as is offered at a traditional seminary without the cost.
