Be an Example, Be a Christian Leader
With the uprising of ungodly behavior being spread throughout the world among our youth and even adults, fulfill the mission in becoming a Christian Leader! The mission is simple: spread the message of Jesus with others; and show the ones you come across in your life (show love to thy neighbor) the path called “a better way.” On the road down a better way, we show love in listening to others, showing patience with one’s turning to the Lord for salvation and repentance, kindness and gentleness at all times, and the last thing we do is mistreat another human being whether we know them or not. Through our actions, and not just by words of I am a Christian, may others see the Truth in living the better way and then in turn want what we’ve got. And what do we got? We have the joy of the Lord. Be an example, be a Christian leader!
Christian Leader & Aspired Future Pastor

A Patient God and a Slow Learner
“Obtuse- slow to understand or perceive something.”
This word describes my walk with the Lord. I grew up in a Christian home and publicly professed faith in Jesus and was baptized when I was thirteen. I read my Bible and went to church, but did not grow in the faith for many years. In fact, it has only been in the past five years that I have come to understand the mercy and grace my God has lavished upon me. I am 50 years old. For 32 years, God has been patient with this dull-witted man. Praise be His holy name.
Like so many people in the US, I had my own brand of religion. I would go through phases of church attendance and involvement, like teaching Sunday school and playing in the worship band, to playing golf or drinking beer and watching sports on Sunday. I lived for me. However, in my heart I had no joy or sense of purpose. Seeing, but not perceiving. Hearing, but not listening. I was miserable. My strength was gone. Life was meaningless. It was at this point that I turned to the Lord in prayer and Bible study. He helped me to see that He had always been there right beside me. Now I rest in His grace and thank Him for His mercy.
I believe that the US is in the religious stage of Apostasy. The freedom to worship in this country has been a double-edged sword. The diversity of beliefs in this country has created the mindset that all roads lead to God and that truth is relative. I have found this to be the greatest obstacle to my Christian witness. People have created their own God in their head. I have even heard some say, “If there is a God, He will understand that I’m basically a good person and tried my best.” When pressed for a definition of ‘good’, the explanation is always subjective. Few read the Bible even though copies are plentiful. God has given the US so much truth that I truly believe that our misuse of His Word will be judged. I am amazed at the stories I have read from other countries where Bibles are scarce yet people come to a saving faith in Christ. I do believe that His Word does not return void and my desire is to share the Gospel.
I believe that I will be a christian leader at some point in the near future. I believe that God has led me to Christian Leaders Institute in order to prepare me for the ministry He has planned for me. In other words, my dream is to be used in any way God sees fit to use me. I have a desire to be a pastor because I can see the power of the Gospel in transforming lives. I have an ability to meet people where they are without judgment. God is the only judge. And I am willing to lead them to Christ. I am not ashamed of the Gospel. I can proclaim the Word and let my Lord work on the sin in their life. I know He can because He does it daily with me.
I have a felt need to help others see that Jesus is the solution to every problem with His presence alone. God never answered Job’s questions, He provided Job with His presence and Job’s questions were answered. The Holy Spirit is limitless and there is no sin that cannot be forgiven. He has given me the gift to receive all sinners with open arms just as He has received me.
My local church has many unmet ministry needs and in need of more then one Christian leader. So far, I have not been led to fill any of these positions. Since I have acted impulsively in the past with poor results, I have put this decision in my Lord’s hands. I believe that through the training I receive at CLI to be a Christian leader, God will open the door to one of these positions and send me to the harvest field. I have studied my Bible many years and read numerous books on Apologetics and Christian living. I believe that having some tangible evidence of my knowledge and commitment will help me get a foot in the door as a Christian leader in ministry. The certificates and diplomas offered by CLI will help me succeed. I believe that I am enrolled at CLI for a reason.
So far I am alone in my ministry pursuit. I love and cherish my wife, but she is not prepared to accompany me on this journey. She is an unchurched Christian, partly due to my past record of ministry failures. I know, in time, she will join me in my walk because this time I am under the direction of my God and He will set the timetable, not me. In His strength I will prevail, not on my own.
Lastly, I seek prayer that God will mold me into the Christian leader He needs me to be and He will remove any obstacles in my way and give me the strength required to do His will. He is my King and Master, the only God, and I am forever grateful for the grace and mercy He has lavished upon me. God has been patient with me and taught me to be patient with others. Praise be the name of the Lord.

CLI Student Daniel Bwegule One Of Many Taking Our Ordination Class
Hello, Praise the Lord. My name is Daniel Bwegule. I was born, in the country of Tanzania, the eastern part of Africa, where I am currently residing. In my country preaching the gospel is free, though sometimes persecution occurs in some parts of the country where there is too much religious differences. But we thank God the Church is growing fast.
Since I joined Christian Leaders Institute in 2012, I have encountered extraordinary experiences, especially the way the school is constructed. I have learned a lot, which I think I couldn’t learn anywhere else. My knowledge has changed tremendously. I can now interpret the Scriptures perfectly and with no doubt of making too many errors. I can communicate the Good News boldly, because the knowledge I have about the Scripture, the history of the Church, and sound theology which I have gained from CLI is a great treasure for my work.
This ordination class is a great asset in my life. For some years I have been desiring to getting such opportunity of being ordained. So when I read an announcement that CLI has introduced this ordination class program, I became so glad and praised the Lord for this wonderful work which He established through His servants. I know through this ordination class I will be able to minister without being worried of anything. I will be able to even cooperate with other ministers, because I am now satisfied and recognized as a trained minister. Glory to God, and may the LORD my God bless all who have been contributing to this Bible School.
I mostly identify myself as a Pastor. In my ordination class for ministry, my calling, gifts, and passion for ministry are coming together through the working of the Holy Spirit, who is empowering me to use these gifts and to stir up my passion so that I may do His work more powerfully and successfully. The unique challenges in my geographical area is shortage of infrastructure in some areas. Where by some areas have no good access to the gospel. Together with this challenge, the availability of many beliefs is a challenge which needs the power of God to transform the minds of people to be able to accept the truth.
My local church has helped me a lot in my calling, especially through discipleship. Whereby, I have been nurtured in different issues concerning the ministry and Church administration. Something which I want to share about my work in the ministry is that, we are all weak, and we need to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God so that He may strengthen us through His Spirit. Sometimes the work my seem to be hard and full of challenges, but always God is there to help us through. No matter what things may look like, God who has established His work, will necessarily come to accomplish it, what we need do as ministers is to humble ourselves under His mighty hand. Sometimes you may feel weary and tired to the point of giving up, but all of a sudden the Spirit of God will come and say, be courageous my son, I am with you. By that word the strength is renewed and the work goes on. Glory to God.
This free ministry training and ordination class in ministry are the very significant resources which I can’t express by words, but I know it is a great foundation for my ministry future. All the dreams and vision I had for years about the ministry are now going to be fulfilled. Through this foundation, I can now rise up and establish the great ministry which cannot be shaken by the winds of the enemy. I have been equipped in every area of ministry. I give all the glory to the Lord of hosts.
All things are good, but one thing is certain, fulfilling the purpose of God. So I would ask you brethren to pray for me, that whatever the Lord is planning to fulfill through me, to be done and be accomplished in the set time of the Lord. Pray that as I am going to resume with my ministry, the Lord will open doors for all resources needed for the work. Thank you!

Pastorate Diploma- Identifying With The Word Pastor
Terry Wayne Ulery: I live in the United States in the State of Indiana. My wife and I have six children; three boys and three girls. We live in the country by a small town called Walton and have been married 27 years. Sometimes I think it is hard because a lot of American Christians and non-Christians only want Christ on their time, not Gods. But I love ministry, because in it, I can often see and feel the real power of God. I really came to know Christ in 2000 from the example of a young Salvation Army officer. It was actually by accident though! I started going to church to spend time with my two young girls. See, I was a workaholic and four children were gone before I knew it. But I always knew as a very young child there was something far better.
My ministry dream is to let Christ have complete control in my life. And to see Christs’ body surpass all religious doctrine for God’s glory. I identify with the word pastor because it was when I first started preaching in the Salvation Army when my relationship with Christ was young. They were going to close church one Sunday; because they had to be away and had no one to preach so I offered. I told them preaching was not hard. You take something from your life you want to change and apply God to it. It has really fanned the flame in me. In the United States, I would have to say that technology is the biggest challenge because people do not really talk anymore. Everyone wants to text. That’s okay; but it is not very personal. It is not real person to person. The expression on my face is personal. I first preached in the Salvation Army and have many times since. As for my family they have seen a lot of changes in me since I came to Christ.
The reason I want a pastorate diploma from CLI is because I want to get deeper into God’s Word. I need this for myself most of all, for self encouragement, and human awareness. I need your prays to keep strong in Christ.
