Christian Leaders Institute is your access or gateway many professional ministry opportunity.
Through a series of events in my life, I discovered my calling. When I was younger, I taught a class to my peers and those older than me within our church. The adults commended me for teaching and thought some teaching or ministry role was in my future. However, I did not pursue that thought until later in life. I continued to learn and teach within the church but pursued education and a career in the engineering field. Utilizing the Christian Leaders Institute degree program, I was able to validate what I had learned and refine it further. This is true for both CLI’s biblical studies and leadership studies.
Therefore, my calling is to use my gifts and talents to help others grow in their faith and become more effective leaders in the church and the world. I am passionate about helping people. Further, God has gifted me the ability to connect with people and inspire them to reach their full potential.
As I continue down the path that I am on, I see myself moving into more of a consultant and coaching role for both the business and church world. I would focus on leadership, teaching the fundamentals, and walking people through a strategic planning session to build a vision for their future.
My Ministry
My current ministry is split between the business world and the digital Christian world. Within business, I teach and grow leaders within my workplace. I have a few key individuals in leadership, and I am teaching them the fundamentals of leadership with a Christian ideology. Regarding the digital Christian world, I have been building a website called www.SimplifyingChristianity.com that has decluttered and re-rooted Christianity’s basics through regularly posted articles.
Challenges in Ministry
One of the biggest challenges I face in the two ministries I contribute to is balancing my time between them. As I move into more of a coaching role, I see myself being able to shift between the two more evenly. Another challenge I face in ministry is the constant change. The world is constantly changing, and the church needs to be able to adapt to it. However, leaders must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new things.
Insight from the Class That Will Serve Me in Ministry
One of the most valuable insights I have gained from this leadership class is the importance of servant leadership. Servant leaders put the needs of others before their own. They are humble, selfless, and always willing to help others. Servant leaders are essential to the church and in business. They are the ones who make a big difference in the world. This insight will serve me well in my ministry. I want to be a servant leader who uses my gifts and talents to help others. By serving others, I am also serving God.
Biblical Studies and Leadership Studies at CLI
My ministry dreams for the future are big. I want to see a world where every church and every business has a strong leadership team—a world where every leader is equipped to make a difference. The church is to be a force for the gospel in the world and where leaders use their gifts and talents to make the world a better place. I know these dreams are significant, but I believe they are possible. With God’s help, we can make a difference.
I am grateful for the biblical studies and leadership studies at CLI. They are advancing my ministry calling. I am learning valuable insights that will help me to become a better leader, and I am inspired by the stories of other leaders who are making a difference in the world. I am excited to see what the future holds for my ministry, and I am confident that God will use me to make a difference.
