I live in California in the United States of America. I am a husband and a father of three beautiful children. Currently, I manage a truck repair shop. My family and I are members of a Pentecostal church, but it hasn’t always been this way.
My Spiritual Journey
Growing up, I had exposure to many different views and beliefs. My family was a mixed bag of Protestant, Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal, Agnostic, and my mother was a Christian Scientist. It was very difficult as a child to understand how everyone believed that they were right in their views on the world. I learned and held onto the belief that there is a God and He loved me. However, I didn’t understand or have a firm foundation for the personal relationship that He wanted to have with me.
I took a long hard road throughout my teenage years and my twenties of drug and alcohol abuse and sinful living. I even had two of my children outside of marriage with the woman who eventually became my wife and the mother of my third child. While living in sin, I can attest that life’s challenges were always magnified. Without a solid foundation, I would cry out for salvation that He would freely give, only to fall back again. It wasn’t until we found our church and dedicated ourselves to Christ as not only our Savior but also our Lord, that we found the true breakthrough. We also found the peace that He offers freely with the Holy Spirit as our guide.
Finding Solid Biblical Training Online at CLI
Over the years, many prophesied that I would be used by the Lord in ministry. The Lord impressed this upon my heart, but I hadn’t taken action. It was from doubt, fear, and the belief that the solid, biblical training needed was outside of my reach. I searched and searched for a way to finally answer God’s calling. In my search, I found the Christian Leaders Institute and am so glad that I did.
Having free ministry training of the highest level while also being able to work around my work schedule so that I am able to continue to support my family, is so important to me and my family. I am excited to learn about God and the Bible free online at the Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about free online Bible courses, Click Here). Here is my story.
I was born and raised in a little town called North Warren. My parents were into drugs and alcohol. They were also abusive. My mom was into Wicca (witchcraft), and my dad was a “supposed” Christian. I have a brother. During my youth, kids bullied me at school, which turned me mean, and I pushed back against people. I decided to be abusive as well as follow my mother’s footsteps in becoming a person that studied occult things.
In my young adult life, I became pregnant out of wedlock. That’s when things started spiraling out of control. Then, I met a man that taught me how to do body piercing and helped him run a tattoo business. At that time, I gave up on my two young children because I found what I thought was the answer to life’s emptiness.
God Showed Me the Way
Then, heavily tattooed, I joined a small family circus as I had nowhere to go because the tattoo guy didn’t work out. After that, I finally met a nice guy. We married and found God together one day after deciding to give the church a try. I had hit rock bottom and had an overwhelming fear of death and dying. The pastor preached how you meet Jesus upon your death if you are a born-again Christain. God opened my eyes, and my heart rejoiced as I sat in the pew, crying tears of relief. Shortly after, my husband and I received baptism together too. God is great!
Now, I am studying at Christian Leaders Institute to learn about God and the Bible. Thank you for this opportunity for free classes online!

Greetings! It’s a pleasure that you are taking the time to read my story. My name is Justin Bream, and I am learning about the Bible online at the Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about free online Bible courses, Click Here). I live in the USA. I am a blessed husband and father. My wife works in behavioral health, and our daughter is almost four. I am an epileptic and an ex-alcoholic, saved by the grace of God. Big fan of soccer and of Manchester City.
My Journey
I grew up in the Church in my early life. My mother and grandparents were very active members. I even sang once or twice with the worship team. I indeed went into my teen years knowing that Christ died for us. Looking back, I know I was not selfless enough to have an active relationship with Jesus, but I would have said at the time that I was saved. Then, at the age of fifteen, my mother died suddenly of an aneurysm. This certainly threw a wrench into the plans. The wind blew me onto a path that led me away from the Lord.
Many years after, I struggled with drugs and alcoholism. Me becoming a full-time brewer did not help my alcoholism. The Lord always had his eye out for me. As time grew in my brewing career, the drinking became much worse. Somehow, the Lord introduced David Jeremiah to me on the radio. As I rode into work in my stupor each day, I would listen to David Jeremiah. This listening went on for some time until I finally gave in and surrendered to the Lord. When I looked at the others in the brewing world, I didn’t want that anymore. It took a few weeks to be able to say, but thanks to the Lord, I’ve been sober since 3/14/19. Praise the Lord!
Learning About the Bible Online at CLI
A few months later, we found a local church at which we are now members! We are growing and really learning what it’s like to be a part of the Body of Christ.
Since the start of 2020, my epilepsy has taken a turn for the worse. So I had to stop working as a supervisor at a craft yogurt factory where I worked. It has left me at home with a lot of time and a stronger calling from the Lord. My disability means that regular schooling isn’t always possible for me. I thank the Lord for this layout for ministry training and learning about the Bible online at the Christian Leaders Institute. I am here to learn as much as possible to help my family, my church family, and the Body. Here I am, Lord, use me.
