My name is Magreth Masunda. I am from Zimbabwe. In my country, there is freedom of worship, meaning everyone is free to worship or follow any religion amongst the ones which are openly known. I have never received any ministry training, though I always wished to. When I came across Christian Leaders Institute on Facebook, I felt relieved. My real journey and purpose for living and surviving started. Since it is online, I don’t have any interruptions. I use my time for God and for learning how to share the good news about Christ. My Journey
My tender age was occupied with apostolic sector ministry, which I struggled and failed to understand. As a family, we were following our mother to church. We went to church, sat, danced, and listened to different preachers. I don’t remember writing any notes. We had no children’s ministry department. Youths were just the youth with no teachings for them.
When I was 19 is when I came to know the Lord. I had moved to the city and was staying with my brother. He was greatly devoted to Christ and was a church worker. He introduced me to Family of God Ministries. At this time, I started learning a lot from the Bible, from youth teaching, about proper praying and fasting, and about who I am in the eyes of God.
My Dreams
My spiritual dream is to preach in prisons, helping people to live right again. It is possible to stand again even if you fall many times. Growing into spiritual maturity I faced the great obstacle of lacking funds to get ministry training.
From my early twenties until my early thirties, I sought a relationship to get married. I had everything around me, like a car, a good job, and going to church. But the things which were around me did not marry me. This discovery humbled me, and I realized I needed Christ in my life. Thus, when I understood I should seek the Kingdom first and all these other things will fall into place, I fasted and prayed faithfully. God became real to me as He responded to my pleas. At 33, I married. These events made me sure that there is no other Saviour than Jesus.
Free Training for Ministers at CLI
I hope to use the training I get from the Christian Leaders Institute to preach to the lost. I want to share that Jesus Christ is our Saviour so that the gospel will reach every corner of the world. Free training was very necessary for me. I am already a ministry leader with no training and no funds to go for seminary training. I needed this free training for ministers at CLI to build more confidence in me. The scholarship for free training for ministers is so important so that every called leader will have the opportunity to study. Once trained, the leaders will train other leaders, who in turn train other leaders. The cycle goes on, and the Kingdom of God expands all over the world. Thank you, Christian Leaders Institute!

My Journey From Sinner to Soldier
I grew up going to church with my family every Sunday until I was around thirteen years old. I always had some understanding of God, but never surrendered myself to Him. It was a trust thing as I grew up in an abusive household never trusting anyone.
At the age of thirteen, I started running away. I never really stopped running until I was forty-five. I ran from my feelings, self-image, and everyone who ever tried to love me. Worst of all, I tried to run away from God. I started drinking at the age of fifteen and drank alcoholically for most of my life. At the age of forty-five, I went to the Adult Rehabilitation Center at The Salvation Army. I got sober and turned my life over to the care and control of God. Today, I am a Salvation Army soldier, active in my home church, and employed at The Salvation Army.
I have a new life through Jesus Christ and am excited to share His message to the world! Today, I serve my community, my church, and the Lord. I am surrounded by some really awesome leaders and mentors. They showed me that even though at times, I had given up on myself, they and especially God had never given up on me. In fact, He had a plan for me all along!
Online Ministry Training Opportunity at CLI
My job keeps me busy and I don’t really have the time or money to go to seminary. So I am excited about the opportunity to receive ministry training through Christian Leaders Institute. My plans are to take as many of the courses as I can and maybe even pursue a degree through CLI. Thankfully, I can do the lessons from home on my computer. Funny thing is, I actually find myself finding more time for studies at home than I ever thought I would! I am looking forward to the training not only for the credentials but also for personal spiritual growth.

My name is Nicole Grimes. I live in North Texas in the USA with my husband and two wonderful kids, ages 12 and 7. I am excited to be training for youth ministry at the Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about free online Bible courses, Click Here).
Growing up in a very loving Christian home, I went to church every Sunday and participated in all the youth activities. The church was always a very involved part of my childhood. As I got older, my two best friends in high school were Christian. We attended concerts and youth group events together. Life seemed to be going my way.
Facing Anger and Abuse
In my 20’s I faced many challenges. I suffer from autoimmune arthritis and experienced domestic abuse through my first marriage. After battling depression and anger, my faith began to suffer. For years, I went back and forth blaming God for my troubles and not sure what I believed anymore. In 2016, I identified as agnostic. However, my heart never forgot the amazing ways God had saved me in my past. I yearned to have the faith back that I once had as a child.
New Beginnings
My sister, myself, and my kids attended a new church after moving to a new town. It was a fresh start. I felt the Lord tugging on my heart leading me to a particular church. It was life-changing! That day on the way home, I prayed to God. I let Him know I was finally listening to what He had to say to me. Boy, did He answer! It took a lot of humility and work but God has truly changed my heart and my life.
Supernatural Upgrade
In 2020, God spoke to me about needing to learn His word. I always struggled in this area, but God promised that if I earnestly tried, He would give me understanding. The more I read, the more I learned. Finally, I was really beginning to know God in a deeper way. This process led me to a supernatural upgrade of understanding! I thank Jesus every day for keeping His promises and leading me down this path.
Spiritual Battles
In July of 2021, my daughter was really suffering. As a mom, I knew something was really wrong. Then, my worst imagining came to reality. My daughter was being abused by her biological father. Feelings of past hurts came flooding back, and I didn’t know how to help her. But with my newfound faith and understanding, God held me every step of the way. He told me that it was me now that had to help her to know Him and to be healed. Slowly, she has been recovering. I realized that teaching her came naturally to me as I shared my experiences with her.
Calling and Training for Youth Ministry at CLI
As I’ve grown in my faith and maturity in Christ, God is now calling me to help my kids grow in a relationship with Him. God called me to pursue youth ministry. I am so grateful I found Christian Leaders Institute (CLI) to take free classes in training for youth ministry. Now, I have an affordable path toward my future career! I know God is guiding me and CLI is making it possible for me to answer the call.
God has done SO much for me and my family! Therefore, I want to share my story and spread the transformative Word of God to as many of His children as I can.
