I am Thomas Kwarteng from Ghana, West Africa. I am studying at the Christian Leaders Institute for more knowledge of God (Learn more about online free Bible courses, Click Here).
My Testimony
Born in July of 1995, I am the lastborn of my parents. I grew up in Kumasi, a city in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Fortunately for me, I was born in a Christian home. Both parents were Christians of the Salvation Army, Ghana territory. Therefore, I received sound Christian doctrine that guided my way of life.
In 2011, I was born again when I went to Senior High School. I had joined the “scripture union,” a Christian organization. In one of their meetings, I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. From then, I had a powerful passion for witnessing to other people about Christ. With the guidance of my parents, church, and friends at school, I received mentorship on how to share Christ with others. Also, I started this mission as I felt called by God to do that. I would share the gospel with my schoolmates. I moved on the streets and bus stations and shared the message of salvation. To the glory of God, souls were saved and discipled.
Study at CLI for Deeper Knowledge of God
In 2014, I entered Teacher Training College to receive instruction on being a classroom teacher. I also shared the gospel. More souls came to Christ. Then, they appointed me to be the Assistant Student’s Chaplain for the college for a year. After completing college, the government posted me to teach. There, for God to use me powerfully, I devoted more time to God. So, I then searched online and came across Christian Leaders Institute. So, I enrolled in CLI to pursue courses on evangelism and missions. I am still studying at CLI, and CLI has been a great blessing.
To impact lives, I need more knowledge of God. That is what I am receiving here at CLI. My life is a testimony of God’s saving power and grace.

My Christian Journey
Greetings! My name is Favour Lorraine Chanda Makungo. I am studying to learn more about ministry service at the Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about online free Bible courses, Click Here).
Born in Zambia, Lusaka, on April 10th, 1975, I am a Zambian lady, who came from a Christian traditional family. My parents were both Christians. I am the eldest of five siblings. We were three girls and two boys. One of my sisters died twenty-six years ago. It affected me a lot and made me want to seek God even more.
I finished Secondary school in 1993. After that, I spent most of my time at home before I went to college. I started off my career by studying banking at Zambia Institute of Business College for a short while. Then, I had to look for a job.
Changes and Challenges
I gave my life to the Lord on April 18, 1999. It was an exciting time for me in my life. In 2000, I moved to the United Kingdom to study for a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business for 4 years.
My Christian walk in the UK was quite a challenge for me because it was a totally different culture. However, this challenge taught me to pray more and to depend more on God during this time. During my academics, I needed God very much. That’s how I developed my prayer life and read the Bible to know more of God and what He expected of me. During this time, I also lost both of my parents in a short space of time. It was very traumatizing and affected my studies. However, it also made me draw closer to God because I wanted to understand why the deaths of my parents happened so fast.
After I completed my studies, I worked a bit in the UK and returned home to Zambia. When I returned home, I continued with my walk with God. At this time, I was more focused and wanted to grow even more. So, I got involved in music ministry and intercessory ministry in the church I attended.
Serving in Ministry and Study at CLI
I started working for a Pharmaceutical company and continued serving God. After some time, the company decided to close its offices in Zambia which meant I lost my job. After that, I stayed at home for close to two years. Then I was hired to help out with finances at my church. It was a temporary position, but after the contract ended, they decided to hire me for a permanent position. So, I am still working for the ministry in the Finance Department.
It has been a journey of ups and downs, and I am glad I have known God all these years. I am studying at the Christian Leaders Institute to learn more about ministry service. My greatest joy is to see people saved and living their life for God.
