Never Dull at the Stulls

My Early Life
I grew up on a farm in the little town of Broadway, NJ, with four sisters and a brother. My brother was five years older than me. When he went into the service, it left me to work on the farm with my dad. I didn’t play any sports after school because I went right home to milk the cows. It gave me a good work ethic.
I had good Christian parents, who went to church and were a part of the different ministries. My father drove a school bus and also drove for the Sunday School. He was known as “The Candy Man” because he gave penny candy to the kids as they got on the bus to go home.
As a young boy, my dad showed me a picture of Jesus knocking on a door. He said, “Notice that there is no door knob on the outside. So, when Jesus knocks at your heart’s door, you have to open up your heart from the inside and invite Him into your life.” That was the day I invited Jesus into my life.
My father gave up the cows when I turned 18 and moved away. Then he gave up farming altogether. He donated land next to the farm so the church could build a new church. The church dedicated the back hall as Stull Hall.
New Beginnings
It hasn’t been an easy road. I drifted away from the church when I moved away. After three divorces, I turned my life back to the Lord. So, I married a Christian woman and thought she would last. Sadly, we separated and divorced.
Then, when I wasn’t expecting it, a new woman came to the church. We talked and I found out that she knew my whole family. She worked at a deli where my mom would buy scrapple. She also knew my dad as she had been on his school bus. Also, she knew my brother and his wife as she went to the same church as they did. So, it wasn’t until she came to the church I was attending that I fell in love with her. She fell in love with me first, but I didn’t know it.
My mother was a prayer warrior. It was because of her that I answered when the Lord was calling me back. She passed away on my birthday. So when I married my current wife, we married on my birthday.
Biblical Chaplain Training
The motorcycle group I ride with was looking for a Chaplain. So my wife said that I should be the Chaplain. She said that I have a pastoral gift. With her gift of discernment, she has more confidence in me than I have in myself.
However, I am trusting that God will lead me in this new ministry. I knew that I needed Biblical Chaplain training. God led me to the Christian Leaders Institute for free online Biblical ministry training. With God leading and the training at CLI, I can be confident in praying for people and sharing the gospel. May God use me to bring more people to the Kingdom. With these courses, I will have all the tools and the confidence to go “MAD” – Go “Make A Difference.”

Launched Into Ministry
My name is Faith Kajawu; born and bred in Zimbabwe but now live in Botswana. I am taking online Biblical ministry training at the Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about free Bible and ministry training online, Click Here).
My Early Life Story
I was born into a Christian family. For a long time, our family was part of an Anglican church. Sundays were church days. Evening times before bed were family prayer time led by my mother. I don’t remember giving my life to Christ while young, so I was a Christian by socialization and association.
At a young age, I was a regular Sunday churchgoer type of believer and not really into it. Our local church was small, and a few members would share the word. No one had training. There were no children’s or youth ministries, so my peers and I were not nurtured in a walk with God.
When I was 11, my mother joined one of the new Pentecostal churches. With the teaching of the importance of the Holy Spirit, it was at this stage that my mother became a prayer warrior. She also came up with family prayer programs. My mother’s devotion and prayer life made a huge impact on my life. Her faith laid the foundation for me. I knew that no matter what I am a Christian and Jesus is the answer for every situation in my life.
Spiritual Growth Journey
As an independent youth, I moved to a prophetic church. There, I met my husband, a pastor for that church. Through marriage, I automatically launched into ministry. I became a co-pastor with him at one of the church branches. My husband is a powerful preacher and a man who loves the Lord. However, I ministered because my husband had a call. But what about me? Was I called to ministry?
Without ministry training, I was on a battlefield. It forced me to learn things the hard way. That could have been simplified by training or mentorship. I faced my personal mistakes and a lot of church politics. I discovered the sins that our church leaders had fallen into. That hurt me to the core, and I almost gave up.
However, by God’s grace, I realized that I needed to begin a journey of self-discovery and learning. So I searched online and found the Christian Leaders Institute for online Biblical ministry training. Now, I can learn as much as possible and delve deeper into my relationship with Jesus Christ. So, celebrate with me and pray for me as I begin this new learning journey!

Good health and blessings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! My name is Herminigildo Abad Dualan, Jr, born in the Naic, Cavite, Philippines. I became a Canadian citizen and now live in Burnaby, BC, Canada. I am married to Linda, my partner for life. We have three kids (a girl and two boys). My Life
I am a part-time volunteer member of JRAM, Jesus Rock of Ages Ministries, home base in Vancouver, BC. I attended and completed the Exhorter’s Licensing Training Program Level 1 conducted by JRAM’s Education Ministry last 2021. Currently, I serve as an assistant Small Group Leader.
I have 10 siblings and am number six in the family. My father and mother were not yet Bible-believing Christians when I was born. They committed their lives to Christ, one year after my conversion. Some of my siblings also followed. I received and surrender my life to Christ on December 6, 1991, in the Middle East, State of Bahrain.
My Spiritual Journey
Before my conversion, I thought believing in many religions would be good enough for me to know God. Also, good enough for God to listen to my prayers and good enough for God to let me into heaven someday. However, all these things turned out to be wrong after I received Christ in my heart and life.
With the help of the Holy Spirit, my mind opened to what the Bible says rather than what religion says. I agree with God through His Word rather than through what religion says. I have learned in the Bible in John 3:16 that God sent His only begotten Son (not a religion or a group) for me to be saved and have eternal life. Because Christ is 100% man and 100% God, I need to have a personal relationship with Him. He is not a group for me to join or a religion for me to become religious with but rather He is God, a person. So that’s why I need to have a personal relationship with Him. It is a relationship, not a religion-ship.
The moment I received Christ, I had a passion to share Christ with my parents. They both committed their lives to Christ as I mentioned before. Having a relationship with Christ is the best experience that I ever had. I love sharing Christ with people as the Holy Spirit gives me the opportunity.
Opportunity for Biblical Training at CLI
I am so thankful to the Christian Leaders Institute for providing me with this opportunity for the Biblical training I need to do the ministry God has called me to. Currently, I am in the Christian Leaders Getting Started Course, Part One and Part Two. There are many takeaways from my learning. Here are a few of them: “Utilizing the training to make an impact for Jesus Christ”; “Mentors can help you learn the easy way”; “All I know is that when I put GOD at the center of my life, great things happen.”
