Hello! My name is Jenna Nicholas, from Utah, USA. I’ve attended college and am paying off a lot of student debt. After not being very interested in most careers, I realized I just wanted God as the center of my life and in everything I do. I started looking into ministry schools with a ministry bachelor’s degree and stumbled across Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about free Bible and ministry classes online, Click Here)! Now I can pay off debt and study for a bachelor’s degree. This is such a gift! Thank you for making it the most affordable program possible and a place we can grow our competency for our callings. I thank my God always when I remember you, dear CLI!
My Journey
I’ve had a relationship with the Lord ever since I can remember. That is thanks to my Mom teaching me when I was very young. I’m now teaching my little boys, and they love God very much. I always knew God loved me and would show me where to go to do what He says. He has been so faithful!
As I write this, my heart has been heavy because my husband doesn’t really know Jesus. Please pray for him if you are reading this and feel led to. I’ve felt a lot of pressure to be a light in a dark world. In the midst of the pain, God has drawn me closer to Him and made a way for me to study at CLI and further my ministry in Him. I hope to take many classes and learn how to better be a light to my husband and my neighborhood. We live among many Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) out here in Utah. I absolutely love that religion is a very common daily subject, even among strangers here. There is so much opportunity to talk to people about Jesus. I know CLI will strengthen my skills so I can more confidently and effectively share the good news.
Thank you, CLI, for this college, the mini-classes, and this ministry bachelor’s degree opportunity. I feel that I already know you very well and can’t thank you enough for bringing this ministry into reality! Also, thank you for raising up so many leaders who love Jesus and want to share Him with others! I’m so blessed and grateful to be a part of it!

God has walked with me throughout my whole life. He has called me and qualified me to be a minister. Currently, I am studying ministry training and Bible knowledge at the Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about free Bible and ministry classes online, Click Here).
My Brief Bio
As a young girl, I was a believer. I married and had three children. During that time, I became a Sunday School teacher. I was able to stay at home and raise my children. Then, I was blessed with a bus driving job and could take my school-age children with me on the bus. I then got into Healing and Deliverance Ministry. I acquired two more children, and then my husband and I adopted two more. We now have seven children. Does my life seem perfect? So, what has God brought me through?
The Rest of the Story
Well, my life was not in any shape or form perfect. I was a believer at a very young age. However, I did not let God choose my husband. He was a nonbeliever. He was physically abusive and repeatedly cheated on our marriage. I already had three children with him when it got really bad. Eventually, he asked me for a divorce to marry someone else. So, I then got a job outside of the home. Later, I met a man that was a Christian. He had two children, which was a challenge for both of us to blend into a family of five. We also did get involved with Healing and Deliverance Ministry. Then, we later were blessed to adopt two more children.
Healing and Studying at CLI
During this time, I struggled with addiction, chronic pain, abandonment issues from my childhood, sexual abuse from my childhood, suicidal thoughts, unworthiness to be in ministry, unforgiveness toward myself and others, and jealousy of others. I was not walking in the freedom that I was helping others to do.
Through all that, God brought me out of bondage and into His freedom. He healed me of all that emotional garbage and of chronic pain and addiction. Through all that is where I got my testimony. Through all that is where I got the credentials (qualification) to minister.
At the Christian Leaders Institute, I am now getting a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Minister of God’s Word. I am also getting more ministry training and Bible knowledge. This ministry training and Bible knowledge are showing me how to apply the credentials that God has given me through the trials and tests to be a minister. I thank God for the trials and tests and for my testimony. Furthermore, I thank God for my freedom and healing. It all confirms that God was walking with me and was in control the whole time!

My name is Moraga Peter Hlongwane. I am 45 years old and live in South Africa in Gauteng Province. I am studying at the Christian Leaders Institute for more knowledge of God and the Bible (Learn more about free Bible and ministry classes online, Click Here).
The Beginning of My Journey
Born in Limpopo Province, my mother was a Christian. So I grew up in church. When she married, she moved to a different city from where she grew up, and their culture and language were different. I lived with my mother and father in that city until I was in grade 8. At that time, conflicts started in their marriage, and my mother sent me to stay with my granny.
This affected my spiritual life because I was used to attending church. In fact, most of my time would be at church. However, in my granny’s area, there were no Christian churches. Therefore, I lost touch with my Christian life. As conflicts escalated in my mother’s marriage, I discovered that the man I considered and called my father was actually not my biological father. That broke me. Considering that my spiritual life was weak since I couldn’t fellowship anymore, I backslid and got involved with bad friends.
Finding Jesus
I came to Gauteng Province in South Africa looking for a job. I got a job as a security officer. While there, I also pursued my passion for music and acting. I joined a Performance Arts school where I met a young man who ministered Christ to my life. He encouraged me to come back to God. That stirred the hunger and thirst for God in my life again.
One Sunday, I woke up and dressed for church. I walked around town looking for a church. As I walked, I heard people singing. So, I went in, fellowshipped with them, and on that day, I received Jesus Christ as my Savior. My life has never been the same! I went home feeling the joy of the Lord! It was what I desired when I was going through the rejection of being sent to stay with my granny while my mom and other siblings stayed with her husband. It left me broken, without hope, lonely, and with no direction. However, since the day Jesus came into my life, He restored my hope and joy.
Ministering and Studying at CLI
Today I am a South African Police Officer, married, and blessed with a son. I have determination, goals, dreams, and direction. I started ministering on the train and joined a bus and train ministry as I couldn’t keep quiet about what the Lord has done for me. Furthermore, I went to parks on weekends to preach and my passion for God kept growing.
Then, I enrolled at a college and obtained my Theology degree. While doing my research, I came across the Christian Leaders Institute which taught me so much. From the very first course, CLI hooked me. The material is packed, well packaged, and interesting. Since I started studying, there is no stopping. I look forward to learning and growing in the knowledge of God and the Bible to be a better pastor. God has called me to start a ministry. I want to be equipped with valuable knowledge of God and the Bible. Then, I will be prepared for the Lord’s work because I strongly believe knowledge is power! Thank you, CLI!
