My Journey
I was a church-going child growing up but lost my way due to a painful childhood. Everything looked good on the outside. However, on the inside, I was a lost soul! I hung out with kids that took drugs, and they accepted me. The things I did were like weights pulling me down deeper and deeper into a darkness that seemed to never end. It’s funny how a way that looks like escape can actually be a dead-end street. I finished high school, a miracle. Then, I went off into a world that I was unprepared for and was a mess. Yet, God always had a way of reminding me that He was there because I should have been dead and gone.
It was an invitation to a Christmas service that put me back on the path with the Lord. The nonjudgmental love and acceptance I received at that service made me see myself differently. I saw that I was more than I was led to believe. I was wonderfully and fearfully made! Then, I realized, I COULD BE FREE!!
Furthering My Biblical Education at CLI
Twenty-seven years later, I am here at CLI and looking forward to what God is doing each and every day! I want to help women see the beauty of Christ and the beauty of holiness inside of them through Him. I am excited. Now, I am ready to serve where God leads me! With the furthering of my Biblical education with CLI, I am getting prepared and equipped. God bless you!!

Peace and grace to all! My name is Takenne Oreste, a Cameroonian currently residing in Douala, Cameroon. I getting further education for ministry at the Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about free Bible and ministry classes online, Click Here).
My Story
Married and the father of three children, by God’s grace, I was in contact with the gospel since the age of 12. It was through the Cameroon Student Bible Fellowship, that I took my first steps as a new convert. Thereafter, I was in charge of a cell group. Later, I also worked in several local communities as a youth leader, interpreter, and pastor.
After my university studies in Management, option: Banking-Insurance, I left Cameroon for Asia. While in Bangkok, Thailand, I experienced several events that radically impacted my life. Through these, God confirmed my specific call. My calling is to work as a missionary for the spread of the gospel of Christ in my home country. Therefore, convinced to go back, in 2016, I returned to Cameroon with a new perspective to share the gospel of Christ.
Further Training at CLI
The mission required further education in ministry. However, not having the finances to enroll in a local theological university, I searched online. To my delight, I found CLI. The courses at CLI have enormously edified, equipped, and encouraged me to develop a more intimate relationship with the Lord. They are also equipping me for my ministry calling. Therefore, I plan to continue my studies at CLI to the highest level. I want to learn more and share the gospel with more effectiveness and fulfillment. Thank you, CLI!

Hello! My name is Jenna Nicholas, from Utah, USA. I’ve attended college and am paying off a lot of student debt. After not being very interested in most careers, I realized I just wanted God as the center of my life and in everything I do. My Journey
I’ve had a relationship with the Lord ever since I can remember. That is thanks to my Mom teaching me when I was very young. I’m now teaching my little boys, and they love God very much. I always knew God loved me and would show me where to go to do what He says. He has been so faithful!
As I write this, my heart has been heavy because my husband doesn’t really know Jesus. Please pray for him if you are reading this and feel led to. I’ve felt a lot of pressure to be a light in a dark world. In the midst of the pain, God has drawn me closer to Him and made a way for me to study at CLI and further my ministry in Him. I hope to take many classes and learn how to better be a light to my husband and my neighborhood. We live among many Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) out here in Utah. I absolutely love that religion is a very common daily subject, even among strangers here. There is so much opportunity to talk to people about Jesus. I know CLI will strengthen my skills so I can more confidently and effectively share the good news.
Thank you, CLI, for this college, the mini-classes, and this ministry bachelor’s degree opportunity. I feel that I already know you very well and can’t thank you enough for bringing this ministry into reality! Also, thank you for raising up so many leaders who love Jesus and want to share Him with others! I’m so blessed and grateful to be a part of it!
