Christian Minister Ordination

My Journey to Christian Minister Ordination

My name is Robert (Bobby) Fischer, and I am excited to be studying at CLI for my Christian minister ordination. I live in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, with my wonderful wife of six years, Vicki, and our puggle, Maddie. Currently, I serve as the director of worship at Beautiful Savior Church here in Omaha. I grew up in and attended church all my life. However, when I joined the Beautiful Savior worship team at age thirteen, I experienced growth in my faith and devotion to Kingdom work. Music has been such a powerful blessing and vessel for worship in my life.

Worship Ministry

For seventeen years, I have had the privilege of seeing God do incredible things through simple means like music. It is what inspired me, at 30, to accept the invitation to lead the worship team that has been a second family to me. I have the opportunity to serve in the church nearly every Sunday. My wife, the assistant director of the kid’s ministry for our church, also serves. I love witnessing families worshiping and serving together in the church. Also, I want to continue to be an example of that.

Christian Minister Ordination Study Program at CLI

I am pursuing the Christian Minister Ordination program of study at the Christian Leaders Institute. Recently, I feel led to pursue an expanded role in ministry. I am unsure whether that involves the gaining of knowledge to further use in my current position as a worship leader or to transition to a pastoral role eventually. I choose to surrender the results of this pursuit to the Lord, knowing that He can use me and the knowledge acquired at CLI for His purposes.

Furthermore, I desire to help denominational churches. Then, they can adapt, grow, and flourish in the current age, by the grace and leading of the Holy Spirit. I am excited to study at CLI and to receive my Christian minister ordination with the Christian Leaders Alliance.
