Christian Leaders First Class

My name is Charles Johnson and I live in Dallas, Texas USA. I love Dallas and doing ministry work here is very important to me. Many years ago I came to the Lord and it has been a tremendous ride! I love God with all my heart and He has protected me all through my life.

I write poetry which is my current ministry. I hope to be able to teach how to use poetry as a witnessing tool to bring others to Christ. I also want to reach those who are battling addictions and show them the freedom in Christ!

I can’t say enough about the Christian Leaders first class here at Christian Leaders Institute. It has renewed my walk with the Lord. I have learned so much about being a Christian leader. I feel that I will be a more effective leader because of this class.

I’m still praying to the Lord to show me which direction I should go. I’m feeling led towards being a Pastor but I will let Him lead me. I have always had a heart for helping people. Being there for those who are hurting. This is a gift that the Lord gave me, the gift of compassion. And I want to use it for His glory!

I see a great need for revival here in South Dallas. People here are struggling with addiction, homelessness, and a feeling of hopelessness. I want to show them that there is hope and freedom in Christ!

I feel so blessed being able to get this training. Without the scholarship, it would not have been possible. CLI is truly a Godsend to me.
