Become a Wedding Officiant in Florida – A Testimony
My name is Christina Dianè Vissanti, and I have a diverse background as a EuroAfrican Latina. I was born and raised in Spanish Harlem, New York City, and the Bronx. Currently, I split my time between Sunny South Florida and various cities along the Northern East Coast throughout the year.
In my search for an Officiate Licensing organization, it was essential to align with one rooted in biblical principles. In my opinion, Christian Leaders Alliance, Institute, and College are top-tier organizations. It is an honor for me to receive my Wedding Officiant license through Christian Leaders Alliance. Having attended many weddings where the focus seemed to be mostly on the reception, I have come to realize the importance of Kingdom Marriage, understanding biblical principles and the context surrounding God’s purpose in covenant, partnership, and marriage. Through my own faith journey, healing, growth, and attained wisdom over the past 10+ years, I now have a higher perspective, love, and reverence for Kingdom Marriage as a whole.
As I continue my education with Christian Leadership Institute, I am inspired to empower the Christian couples I marry. I aim to help them see and understand the sacredness of the Wedding Ceremony and the wonderful opportunity to co-create a ceremony script that captures God’s presence in the details of their love story. Being a self-published Christian author, I appreciate the power of testimonial storytelling, and as a believer in Christ and a Transformational Life Coach, I understand the impact of our words. As a Christian Wedding Officiant, my goal is to facilitate a ceremony that allows guests to witness how God’s love is intricately woven into the union of marriage and the unique love story of the bride and groom.
In a world filled with distractions, it is easy to miss God in our day-to-day lives. However, in every ceremony I conduct, I look forward to empowering the couple to infuse their wedding with Jesus’ presence. My aim is to inspire their friends and family, whether believers or not, by showcasing the beauty of God’s love within the ceremony. My Wedding Officiant License, paired with my Pre-Marital Counseling Facilitator certification, is just the beginning of what I trust God is preparing me for. I will continue to pursue my studies to become an Ordained Minister, equipping me with additional skills to support the Kingdom both online and in-person, with a special focus on Teen Ladies, Women, Singles, and Marriage Ministries.
In this part of my profile, I invite you to learn more about me and my faith journey, which has led me to where I am today in Ministry. I believe that God has gifted me with a Writing Ministry, and He has been equipping and preparing me since I was five years old. At the age of 15, two of my poems won the National America Library of Poetry contest. These poems were inspired by two dark and challenging seasons of my life—my parents’ domestically violent marriage and the growing pains of being a survivor of child abuse. Despite facing a severe stutter as a child and struggling with self-worth, winning this contest boosted my confidence and sparked my passion for writing and storytelling.
My Christian faith journey began in 2008 when I was introduced to Jesus, and ever since, my life has been undergoing consistent empowering transformation. In 2009, I started volunteering in Ministry, and although my faith walk had its lukewarm periods for several years, God was always at work behind the scenes, developing me through every season. In 2011, I became an entrepreneur in the field of Life Coaching, earning certifications and extensive training in Transformational Life Coaching. In 2019, God planted a vision within me to write for the Kingdom, and in 2021, I stepped into full-time Ministry as a Staff Development Administrator. This position allowed me to integrate my Life Coaching skills with biblical principles and personal development modalities. During my 2.5 years of full-time Ministry, I experienced restoration in various areas of my personal and professional life, making it evident that God was working swiftly. My love for serving, coaching, facilitating, and event planning for the Kingdom became crystal clear.
In 2021, the Holy Spirit impressed upon me a series of faith-based Journals, Devotionals, and Keepsakes, and in 2022, He provided the template for each of them. In September 2022, I launched my first Etsy storefront, and in the summer of 2023, I will be releasing my first AGAPE Collection of three Journals. Each collection is directly inspired by personal seasons in my life while respectfully capturing similarities in the lives of many within my Christian community. Writing has always been a powerful healing tool, advocacy tool, and primary form of communication in my personal and professional life.
Thanks to the generosity-driven concept at Christian Leaders Institute, I am able to pursue much more than just my Wedding Officiant License. The high-quality training and degree courses offered at a low financial investment are a tremendous blessing. This funding model allows me to further develop my skills in the areas I am anointed and called to. I am incredibly grateful, and as a Vision Partner, I know that the seeds I sow are planted in fertile ground, providing others with the same opportunities. Education and training are essential in every Ministry, whether it be voluntary or a career, as they enable us to walk confidently and equip us to make a lasting impact for eternity. As Romans 12:3-13 reminds us, every piece of the puzzle matters. Together, with our different gifts, we create a powerful sphere of influence, allowing others to experience the transformative love of God, the gospel of Jesus, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
