Hi, my name is Anthony Duvall I live in New Concord Ohio in the United States. I am 23 years old I am a husband and a father of two children a boy and a girl. My everyday job as a package delivery driver for FedEx. I have felt the call to Ministry since I was a teenager, but it wasn’t until about a year ago that I felt the call specifically for Pastoral Ministry. I grew up in a Presbyterian Church, and I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 13.
Christian leaders Institute is providing me with an opportunity to pursue God’s calling for me to enter into Ministry because I do not have the financial means to attend a regular Seminary. I am participating in a Lay Pastor program this spring to get my Ministry career in the church started, but I want to gain the education knowledge to become an ineffective leader to begin a Revival in Ohio. No, we do not suffer from dangers that other countries May face there are also challenges here in Ohio in Ministry.
I live in a very rural community, and church numbers seem to be dropping each year, and in a rural community, the number of people with a reasonably easy drive are scarce. My wife and I drive a half an hour to a church in Zanesville to a church that has a more contemporary feel with a younger congregation that meets our family’s needs. But there are the numbers of people our age with kids to start a contemporary-style service in New Concord. So that is my goal is to plant a church in New Concord that will suit the younger generation. No my other reason for wanting to plant a younger contemporary church in New Concord is that new Concord is a college town with a large number of unchurched teens from out of town.
Now although I am Young God has tested me and prepared me for Ministry. I have gone through many physical Financial and emotional challenges, but I found strength in Christ in those challenges and persevere. And I know I’m going to face many more trials and test through my life and I am ready for them. Praise be to God for the ministry you have created to allow me the opportunity to fulfill his calling for my life thank you!
