Outreach Ministries

Hi my name is Anthony and I live in the United States. Here we have the freedom to choose what religion we will follow though Christianity appears to be the most visible religion in this country.

As I recall, I came to the Lord at a very young age. Although I did not know much about the Lord and His purpose for my life, I did feel this purpose would be life changing. I always felt His presence in my life especially when I would move off the path. A faint voice would call out to me about what is right and wrong, and eventually guide me back into the fold. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27)

My ministry dream is to have a Christian Outreach Ministry dedicated to serving the homeless, the hungry, and the helpless. I would like to share my blessings with others as well as facilitate getting others to share their blessings with people in need. “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. . .”(Matt 25:35)

I think I identify mostly with evangelistic ministries, because of my desire to minister to people outside the church. The key experience in my life that prompted me to pursue ministry was surviving a heart attack. I realized I have very little time on this earth before I meet God. While in this body I want to make every effort to share my testimony, why I have faith in Christ Jesus, and the hope of a better place after death. I want to encourage people to turn to the Lord and live for Him.

My local church is supporting my calling by allowing me to minister at the church and learn directly from the Pastor.

Training from CLI is important to my ministry dream because it allows me to obtain an excellent quality Christian education without getting into debt. I believe the knowledge obtained at CLI will help me achieve my dream of starting an Outreach Ministry within the next two years.
