Our student life team is committed to helping the whole student learn and develop while cultivating an encouraging, diverse and godly community.

- [Spiritual] For our students to grow in their relationship with Christ and biblical knowledge. We work to advance each of our students’ spiritual formation.
- [Physical] For our students to increase their personal health, family health and help them develop good habits as they serve the Lord.
- [Intelligence] For our students to further develop their intellectual knowledge and skills both in ministry and general Christian life and skills.
- [Emotional] For our students’ emotional well-being to thrive as they study at CLI and to also support and advise them in their educational journey.
- [Social] For our students to be connected to a global Christian community and to socially develop a deep, rich community of Christian encouragement and growth.
Our courses and programs seeks to develop the key relationships of their life. We call this the seven connections with we need to be talking and listening repeatedly to build healthy relationships.
Developing a strong walk with God
Talking = prayer
Listening = Bible reading
Repeatedly = The habit of personal devotions
Reproducible walk leading to evangelism = Sharing the message of the Gospel and sharing what you do that helps you connect with God.
Developing a strong marriage through repeated spiritual care together
Talking = prayer with spouse
Listening = Bible study with spouse
Repeatedly = The habit of marriage or friendship devotions
Reproducible walk leading to evangelism = sharing what you do in your marriage that helps you connect with each other and God
Developing strong spiritual faith with your family and children
Talking = prayer with family
Listening = Bible study with family
Repeatedly = The habit of family devotions

Developing a strong close-knit connection with friends through small group
Talking = prayer with small group
Listening = Bible study with small group
Repeatedly = The habit of small group devotions (meetings)

Developing and growing with a church family
Talking = prayer, singing, testimonies
Listening = Bible reading, sermon

Encouraging and growing with fellow Christians everywhere
Talking = preparation for ministry
Listening = training and courses
Repeatedly = The habit of interacting with the broader Christian world (denominations, theology, conventions)

This connection is how you bring the other six connections as a witness to your faith. Sharing the Good News with the world.
